Lebanese Revolts
Beirut, Lebanon. Demonstrations following the government's announcement of a tax on the WhatsApp app in the context of the economic crisis. The movement quickly turned into a revolt against political corruption and for the establishment of a non-confessional system of government. Having failed to receive a proper response from the authorities, the movement continues until today, reinforcing economic and political instability in the country. This work is a testimony from the early days of the revolt. From the first riots to the resignation of the Prime Minister, Saad Hariri.
